Prym Espadrille Contest – Enter now! The Prym Espadrilles Contest is heading into the home stretch! You only have time until this Friday, May 15, 2015, to enter the contest. With a little bit of luck, you, too, could be a winner of a giant creative espadrilles package put together by sponsors Prym, Farbenmix, Handmade Kultur and Swafing.
Espadrilles, Espandrilles, Espandrillos – man kennt die unkomplizierten Sommerschuhe unter vielen Namen. Mit dem Espadrilles Sortiment von Prym könnt Ihr nun Eure eigenen Schuhe nähen! Die strapazierfähigen Sohlen aus Jute sind mit einer durchgehenden Lauffläche aus Gummi versehen. So wird Dein „Designerschuh“ Dich gut und sicher durch den Sommer tragen! In der mitgelieferten Anleitung wird erklärt, wie man das Schnittmuster ganz leicht auf den eigenen Fuß anpassen kann. Gemeinsam nähen macht noch mehr Spaß – Nähe Deine Espadrilles und berichte unter #prymcontest auf Deinen Social Media Kanälen! Bei Farbenmix wurde – außer Konkurrenz – das erste Paar Espadrilles selbstgenäht – der Stoff Fabric Fever liegt dem großen Kreativpaket ebenfalls bei!
Espadrilles, so named for the esparto plant from which hemp for the soles was originally made, is an ancient Spanish shoe that is as modern as ever. Using the Espadrilles products from Prym, you, too, can make your own mark on this 4,000 year-old footwear tradition and sew your own summer shoes! The jute soles include a sturdy rubber bottom plate to help your „very exclusive“ designer shoes last throughout the summer. The included instructions will show you how to easily adjust the pattern for a perfect fit to your foot. Sewing with friends is even more fun: Stitch up your espadrilles and share your creations with the hashtag #prymcontest on social media. Farbenmix (not participating in the contest as a contestant) stitched up one of the first pairs of espadrilles. The „Fabric Fever“ fabric is also included in the generous creative contest package.
Lila-Lotta hat sich ebenfalls außer Konkurrenz schon mal an den tollen, individuellen Espadrilles versucht und dieses niedliche Hochzeitsgeschenk gebastelt: Aus einem großen Bilderrahmen, den kleinsten Prym-Sohlen, schwarzen und weißen Uni-Stoffen von Swafing, etwas Chiffon oder ein anderer zarter Stoffrest für den Schleier entsteht an einem Abend ein wunderschönes Hochzeitsgeschenk, das sich auch gut als Begleitgabe zu einem Geldgeschenk eignen würde:

es ist schon eine gefühlte Ewigkeit her, dass ich mich hoffnungsvoll beworben habe… denn tollerweise gibt es die Sohlen ja sogar in Gr.42
Mal schauen, ob mir das Glück hold ist.
