Emine stepper with rainbow effect
Brilliant times are ahead with the incredibly beautiful Emine quilted fabric! The quilted fabric with the cool, hologram-like effect shimmers in all the colours of the rainbow. The quilted fabric with the metallic look has a very special effect.
The colour gradient runs crosswise, the quilting lines run lengthwise – a dream of a quilting fabric and lined with cosy plush in trendy camel. Great for children and adults and also ideal for bags! You can also play with the direction and let the quilting lines run in different directions.

Cotton knit Lia & Noah
Just like knitting yourself – only much faster! With knitted fabrics made from pure cotton, even those who don’t like knitting can create beautiful knitted items! Hoodies, jumpers, pullovers, chunky cardigans for adults, but also versatile for children’s overalls, knitted jumpers, scarves and more. Absolutely unisex – for him and her, we also see trendy cushions and dreamy blankets made from the beautiful knitted fabrics!
Beautiful patterns and textures – knitted in pure cotton: Lia is a pure cotton knit with a knitted-in braided pattern in four colours – smoky blue, lilac, dusky pink and taupe. You can play with the direction of this pattern wonderfully and you don’t need a complicated pattern – the fabric works all by itself! Practical: The cuffs from the currently pre-orderable autumn/winter collection fit very well – you can combine them wonderfully with many Kölnmesse items.
Noah is a cotton knit with a beautiful bubble / bobble pattern. We love the powdery colours: Beige, light grey and the trendy blush / mocha! A simple, classic fabric, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified – also ideal for the very youngest children for cute jackets or overalls or for home decoration such as cushions or elegant knitted cosy blankets.

We don’t even need to introduce you to Bono – the much-loved Italian cotton knit with elastane has conquered our hearts and has become an integral part of the Swafing range! A real Cologne trade fair tradition and a favourite with our customers and retailers alike. Bono impresses with its high cotton content of 70% and its fantastic, slightly roughened surface. Self-sewn favourites that stay with us for a long time – Bono is easy to wash and still looks really nice even after frequent wear! Bono has the same composition and surface as Knit Bene, but is even cosier and fluffier on the back and therefore a little warmer. So versatile: triangular shawls, tops, hoodies, cardigans, loops, turtleneck dresses, hats, accessories and more can be made from Bono in many beautiful colours.

Boiled Wool Merino
Boiled Merino wool – our Merino item is a must-have for young and old! This item is so popular that we are offering it again by popular demand!
Article Merino is – as the name suggests – made from 100% new wool (merino wool) – a wonderful and very high-quality material! Merino fibres are only half as thick as conventional new wool and are much softer and finer and, above all, even more comfortable to wear in direct contact with the skin, such as in hats or loops, and not at all scratchy! This lighter boiled wool is not as thick as conventional wool and is ideal if you’re looking for a slightly lighter material for tops, boiled wool overalls, jackets and coats, hats, scarves, cuffs and more! So lovely for women’s coats, but also very suitable for children’s wear. This natural material retains body heat, is breathable and temperature-regulating and keeps you and your loved ones wonderfully warm.
So great to work with: You can simply cut merino and don’t necessarily have to neaten or line styles made from it – cool open edges that don’t fray and with just a few seams you have a new favourite piece! Certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®!
Merino is available in great melange and plain colours – matching the colours of the Naomi and Naomi-melange items, Merino is a great addition if you are looking for a slightly lighter material for tops, walkoveralls, jackets, hats, scarves and more! NANO softshell Fiete
No trade fair without Fiete! The tried-and-tested NANO softshell with a constantly new, trendy print is an indispensable part of the Swafing range! The popular quality is ideal for self-sewn favourite items for active people in all weathers. Because: there is no such thing as bad weather – just the wrong clothes! Water- and wind-repellent, with a breathable membrane and even certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® – nothing is left to be desired! But softshell is much more than „just“ jacket and coat fabric. In addition to coats, jackets and waistcoats, it can also be used to sew trousers, outdoor overalls and, of course, wonderful bags!
There are new children’s designs for h+h cologne – brightly coloured dinosaurs, cool spaceships and UFOs with bright green accents, a great street design and the wolf howling at the moon. Favourite jackets for active kids – so your little ones are well dressed whatever the weather.
There are also three very popular ladies‘ designs, which we are offering again in response to popular demand: The great floral outlines are shown to their best advantage on dark blue. Safety first: Sakura reflective NANO softshell
Softshell jackets with reflective patterns are ideal for the transitional period and colder days. The reflective print makes you much more visible in traffic than dark jackets without reflective details. Sakura reflective softshells are ideal for children, but some designs are also suitable for adults. Stay safe on the way to school and in traffic!
This quality is ideal for self-sewn favourite items that keep active people warm and dry through any weather: Water- and wind-repellent and with a breathable membrane! Sakura has a colour-coordinated fleece side and does not necessarily need to be lined – the styles are so cosy on the inside! Ideal for clothing such as jackets, windbreakers, waistcoats and coats, rain trousers, mud trousers and overalls for the little ones, but also for outdoor cushions, accessories and bags, toiletry bags, rucksacks or gym bags. Softshell is so easy to work with and the result is always marvellous!

Cuddly soft alpine fleece
Alpine fleece has a sweatshirt fabric front and a fluffy, cosy fabric back, which is warm and very comfortable to wear. This is why alpine fleece is also known as „cosy sweat“. Alpine fleece does not need to be lined – use it to sew cosy hoodies, cuddly jackets, jogging trousers, blankets, hats, scarves and much more! With the cosy sweat with the great soft fleece reverse side, you are always well dressed in wind and weather and cooler temperatures!
Alpine fleece Farsund with special effects!
Such a cool alpine fleece: Farsund impresses with three beautiful designs in two colours each and the mega-cool 3D metallic foil print! The prints are really sublime and have a wonderful metallic glitter on the mottled background. The metallic 3D print in a cool destroyed look has a very special effect – we have hearts on mint and dusky pink, stars with a rainbow colour gradient on grey and dark blue and the speckles on natural white and anthracite.
Farsund has a side that matches the colour of the front and is wonderfully cosy and warm. The base fabric is our mottled basic alpine fleece Mila, so you can combine it wonderfully!

Sevilla is a pointelle jersey with a beautiful texture. The lengthwise striped jerseys with the subtle pointelle pattern have a raised texture, feel wonderful and are very stretchy. They follow every movement, but bounce back immediately and do not bulge.

Textured fabrics and beautiful prints – Valencia is an absolute favourite jersey! The pointelle knit jersey with raised vertical stripes has a subtle lace pattern and is very soft and stretchy. We also have a gorgeous plain pointelle knit jersey with the great raised stripes to match the Valencia and Seville vertical striped prints! The subtle pointelle / ajour knit pattern really comes into its own here. The stretch cotton jersey with 5% elastane is wonderfully soft and stretchy, springs back into shape well and is ideal for womenswear and childrenswear – dresses, tops, shirts, leggings, loungewear, tops and much, much more! You can mix and match to your heart’s content again with our textured plain fabrics – everything goes so well together and all textures are currently in high demand. With different structures and textures, you can style varied plain outfits or combine structured unis with trendy prints.

Cotton jersey Alina with pointelle pattern
Pointelle jersey is beautiful all year round – following the success of our SS24 jersey Tiana, we have the same beautiful quality under the name Alina in the trend colours for autumn and winter 24/25.
The soft jersey with an ajour pattern has an enchanting pattern with small diamonds and openwork vertical stripes. The pattern is so fine that the fabric is still opaque, so you can’t see through the small holes. Ideal for tops, dresses, turtleneck shirts, baby and children’s fashion, hats, scarves and light blankets! The beautiful pointelle jersey is light and airy to wear and hugs the body beautifully.
Fantastically trendy colours: Dusty pink, lilac, smoky blue, pistachio, terracotta, blush, beige and taupe! Rib jersey Andrick goes well with this, as do the other textured uni fabrics Turin, Palermo, Neapel and Florenz in some colours.

Ribbed jersey and ottoman jerseys are very popular and ideal for many of our favourite home-sewn items. In the current textured trend, we can’t get enough of the great ribbed jerseys!
Ribbed jersey Andrick
Andrick is a ribbed jersey with a great, wider rib and a beautiful, raised texture. The beautiful ribbed jersey in the friendly autumn/winter colours 24/25 immediately impressed our sample sewing team! It keeps its shape wonderfully, doesn’t bulge when sitting – very important for dresses or trousers – and just looks so great!
Important processing note: Please be sure to pre-wash the fabrics before sewing, pull them back into shape and – very importantly – steam them with an iron so that Andrick regains its original shape after washing. Only then should you start cutting! Please pass this information on to your customers so that they know directly how to handle this material.
Does not bulge: Andrick keeps its shape beautifully even when sitting for long periods of time, always pulls together comfortably and is therefore ideal for trousers, leggings and cosy bloomers – so great as an elegant pencil skirt too!

Beautiful structure – and everything fits together!
Ottoman jersey Turin
Ottoman jersey has a little more stability than conventional jerseys, but is wonderfully pleasant to the touch and can be used like a firmer jersey or lighter sweat. The cross-ribbed jersey is ideal for hoodies, cardigans and especially for hats! The great, firm quality means that Ottoman beanies fit so well and look very stylish at the same time!
Our Turin cross-ribbed ottoman jersey is soft to the touch and also looks great with simple cuts. Combined with other fabrics (such as the grey hoodie with jacquard jersey Palermo), the texture is twice as effective!
In addition to hoodies and jackets, Turin is also ideal for bloomers, cosy jersey dungarees, shirts, cropped jumpers and much more. The great colours are available in three qualities – Turin ottoman jersey, Palermo jacquard jersey and Neapel textured woven fabric.

Textured woven fabric Neapel
Another great all-rounder is the structured woven fabric Neapel. The beautiful, firm fabric does not give, so you should use patterns for non-elastic fabrics. Neapel is so versatile – the waffled cotton fabric is suitable for clothing such as jackets and waistcoats, but also for aprons, tea towels, light blankets, cushions and much more! Fantastic patterns and colours on a beautiful, non-slip texture – that’s Kiara jacquard woven fabric! The beautiful, firm fabric does not give, so you should pay attention to patterns for non-elastic fabrics. We think Kiara is ideal for waistcoats, blazers, jackets, but also for bags or even decorative cushions.
The floral pattern is available in two colours – one in powdery shades of pink and a slightly stronger shade of yellow with green and red accents. Nuka is a great, slightly lighter woven fabric with a marvellous texture. There are two beautiful designs – small, delicate flowers on a light-coloured background and the cute retro flowers that simply put you in a good mood!
The textured woven fabric is nice and light, but the texture gives it a nice grip and you can work wonderfully fine details with it – tucks, collars, ruffles and much more! Pleats can also be created wonderfully with it and it is not bulky. Ideal for children’s and women’s fashion – for blouses, dresses, lightweight trousers, tops, skirts, waistcoats and much more.

You can sew a gym bag/backpack with matching neck pouch, a pencil case and a small stuffed animal from the animal bag DIY panel. Ideal for sewing beginners: the pattern is already printed on the fabric – simply cut it out and start sewing!
You also get great appliqués with which you can decorate these or other models with lions, elephants, unicorns and ponies / horses! The Thorsten Berger designs are so detailed and lovingly illustrated and will delight little Halloween ghosts, but are also so cool for teenagers! Don’t turn round, because the zombies are on the loose – at least they are spotted particularly often on the nights around Halloween. They are usually out and about in small gangs to get their hands on lots of sweets, because sweets are „pure nerve food“ even for zombies (and unfortunately there aren’t that many nerves left among zombies)… The panel motif with the poisonous green colour almost glows by itself thanks to the bright digital print. New at Swafing: Stella Petrakopoukou Illustrations
We are delighted to present the first Swafing designs by Stella Petrakopoukou at h+h cologne! Stella has been developing her artistic skills since she was a child and later went into graphic design. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Stella decided to take her passion for illustration and design to the next level a few years ago and has been working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator ever since. Her illustrations show a mixture of comic and tattoo art elements, which allows us to offer a new style!
The Stellaris French Terry collection includes two Halloween designs and three space designs – whereby the black Universium also goes wonderfully with the fabric with the bats – all the fabrics can be combined wonderfully! Such a cool theme for kids, teens and adults – hoodies, tops, trousers, sweatshirts – even cool bags are conceivable!

Another trend theme is the dachshund. From a symbol of stuffiness to an absolute trend – because the dachshund is also ubiquitous internationally. An absolute summer dream, but can also be used all year round! The cheerful, floral prints on flowing viscose woven fabric are perfect for dresses, blouses, tops, summer trousers and more!

The second half of the year is a little more muted, but still with colourful accents! Cute bunnies and beautiful floral designs on jersey in the popular, heavier jersey quality with 90% cotton and 10% elastane are now available on Jersey Jona. In addition to the bunnies in natural and dark blue, there are beautiful retro flowers and a floral design that you may have already discovered on the textured woven fabrics Nuka or Kiara. Corduroy velvet and decorative fabrics
Favourite fabric Wanja in exclusive colours!
Wanja was THE trade fair fabric of 2023 and you asked us for new colours. We didn’t need to be told twice and have created eight trendy colours for you that are only available exclusively from Swafing! Bright red, bright pink, intense green and the trendy royal blue – we are totally in love with the new colours! We also have four slightly more muted colours: two Bordeaux shades, a beautiful emerald and petrol.
Coarsely ribbed corduroy velvet Wanja is ideal for home decoration and furniture upholstery, but also for trendy bags and fashionable clothing. The beautifully iridescent and velvety-soft wide corduroy impresses with its structure, great look, durability and longevity.
Wanja has excellent abrasion resistance with a Martindale value of > 90,000 cycles (for classification: Martindale values of at least 40,000 abrasion cycles are recommended for very heavy use in public environments) – this means that the corduroy velvet is even suitable as an upholstery fabric for sofas, armchairs, chairs and stools!
The gorgeous, velvety soft material is ideal for cool cushions, expressive rucksacks and shoppers or handbags. You can also play with the direction and let the ribs run diagonally – for expressive, unique pieces.
For statement pieces: Wanja corduroy velvet
The coarse rib is also an absolute eye-catcher in the clothing sector, because WIDE corduroy is almost an understatement: Wanja comes with a fluffy rib with a full width of 1 cm. For absolute statement pieces! Trendy corduroy jackets, trousers and skirts – the non-slip corduroy velvet has a lovely texture and is very comfortable to wear. The iridescent velour fabric is also wonderful to work with.

The barbecue and outdoor season is coming soon and we have the perfect fabrics for it! The barbecue design with the kettle grill, sausages, steak, ketchup and vegetables is perfect for tablecloths or barbecue aprons. We can also imagine cushions or utensils made from this cool decorative fabric! There are also olive branches, bees with honeycombs, horses in the paddock and cats and mice.

Mars faux leather
This fantastic faux leather in a diagonal braided look has an exciting, smaller braided pattern. Despite the relatively high grammage of approx. 700 g/m², Mars is beautifully soft and not stiff. You can work with it with wonderful precision and also work out finer details with it and incorporate fasteners or zips. The faux leather with felt backing is available in the colours erica, lilac, grass green and royal blue – all in a slightly more muted version than Venus faux leather.
