New designs: Viscose stretch satin Jill
This new quality was so well received at the Swafing in-house exhibition that we are offering four more designs for Cologne! The viscose-elastane blend is mega soft, drapes beautifully and is opaque – a great new quality. The very slight sheen makes the Viscose satin looks super elegant and is wonderfully stretchy thanks to the elastane content! The new, trendy designs are really fresh for the summer, but can also be worn all year round. There is an elegant, floral design with soft, flowing floral motifs in dark red and anthracite on natural white, a beautiful paisley pattern in petrol and the cool chevron pattern in boho style. The irregularly blurred chevron pattern in Black and beige looks so great as a maxi skirt with a black top or as a boho dress – trendy boho chic!
This quality can be worn all year round – as long as it is still cooler, you can combine it with cardigans or jumpers made from bono or merino knit, and in summer with a light top or shirt. For everyday wear, but also for special occasions. The viscose stretch satin has a beautiful, lightweight quality. Thanks to the elastane content, it yields nicely but still retains its shape. The beautiful, light drape makes it ideal for dresses, skirts, blouses, tops and shirts, but it can also be used to make a satin blouson or flowing trousers!

Favourite fabric Wanja in exclusive colours!
It all began in Cologne – two years ago, we presented the popular corduroy velvet for the first time, which was so well received by you that we soon added it to our standard range in several colours. Now the success story continues and we have eight new colours for you! It’s going to be really colourful: look forward to a bright lemon yellow, red, an intense orange, violet, heather, berry, a great aqua and a beautiful petrol – we are totally in love with the new colours!
Coarsely ribbed corduroy velvet Wanja is ideal for home decoration and furniture upholstery, but also for trendy bags and fashionable clothing. The beautifully iridescent and velvety-soft wide corduroy impresses with its structure, great look, durability and longevity. Wanja has excellent abrasion resistance with a Martindale value of> 90,000 cycles (for classification: Martindale values of at least 40,000 abrasion cycles are recommended for very heavy use in public environments) – this makes the corduroy velvet even suitable as an upholstery fabric for sofas, armchairs, chairs and stools!
The gorgeous, velvety soft material is ideal for cool cushions, expressive rucksacks and shoppers or handbags. You can also play with the direction and let the ribs run diagonally – for expressive, unique pieces.
For statement pieces: Wanja corduroy velvet
The coarse rib is also an absolute eye-catcher in the clothing sector, because WIDE corduroy is almost an understatement: Wanja comes with a fluffy rib with a full width of 1 cm. For absolute statement pieces! Trendy corduroy jackets, trousers and skirts – the nonslip corduroy velvet has a lovely texture and is very comfortable to wear. The iridescent velour fabric is also wonderful to work with.

Long Story – The XXL measuring tape fabric panel
Some ideas simply need time – and that’s exactly why our new cotton jacquard is named „Long Story“. Five years ago, the idea of a unique customised scarf was born, and we finally have this special DIY panel in our hands and can offer it to you for pre-order. A fabric with a story – and an impressive format!
The XXL panel is approx. 2.10 m high and shows an extra-long measuring tape in three beautiful colours: Bordeaux, mustard and grey old rose. The soft, brushed jacquard quality made of pure cotton ensures maximum comfort – as soft as butter and yet non-slip. Each bolt of fabric contains approx. 4 panels.
The perfect scarf for creative people
The Long Story scarf is the new must-have for all sewing and DIY fans! It can worn as a reversible scarf with two colours or made into a scarf in one colour by combining two panels. Merino fleece for extra cosiness – making it a wonderfully warm winter scarf. If you don’t want to be so warm, you can also combine it wonderfully with muslin Jenke.

Molina Collection by Bienvenido Colorido
While strolling through Tarifa at the eastern end of the Costa de la Luz, Nelli Simböck from bienvenido colourido came up with the idea for this beautiful collection. Inspired by the many great boutiques, the colourful shops and the neighbouring beaches, she designed the Molina border fabric – long boho-style dresses, wrap blouses with long skirts, a bit of hippie flair in trendy colours. The result was a harmonious collection with viscose woven fabric in two designs and a beautiful modal French terry. Everything fits together perfectly, because the patterned viscose Trigo can also be combined very well with the Molina border if you want to expand the pattern mix a little! The Ruby French terry matches the colour but is a little simpler. Perfect for a matching jacket when it cools down in the evening.
Through the year with bienvenido colourido – in addition to the „Molina“ summer collection, the
„Victorian Damask“ provides also a fabric collection for the autumn.
Viscose woven fabric Molina
Molina is the centrepiece of the collection. The attractive design is not a panel, but a continuous border. The interesting pattern consists of differently patterned stripes, some narrow, others wider. The contrasts and coordinated colours are so beautiful and always different! You have a choice of three harmonious colours: Dark blue-natural, dusky pink with black and black with teal.
Molina is not a panel, it is a continuous rapport.
You can play with the arrangement of the stripes so that the styles always look different – for
example, you can use the wider stripe as the top and accentuate waist with a contrasting
stripe, use a stripe on the shoulders to visually set off the yoke or even use narrow stripes as
collars or ruffles.

Hello, landlubbers! Seagull Ole and his crew are about to land! The fabric series „SEALIFE“ brings a maritime holiday feeling to the sewing machine and provides fun eyecatchers with seagull Ole & his „thieving“ crew. A breeze of sea air is of course included! There’s so much to discover here – shells, waves, beach and sea on With Ole the seagull, there’s always something going on at the beach and the panel motifs with the matching allover designs in different fabric qualities are perfect for creating cool summer looks.
Thorsten Berger was once again creative enough to express his unique sense of humour in this witty collection. The diverse collection includes French terry, cotton jersey, viscose woven fabric and canvas. Of course, the popular panels are also included again, with French terry and canvas even in two qualities.
Seagull Ole French Terry
Ole the seagull is half laughing seagull, half screaming seagull and so his beak stays permanently open. Ole doesn’t come alone, of course, because he and his buddies have long been in control of the beach as „TASK FORCE BEACH“. So watch out, because the feathered gang is always hungry and after you faster than you think… (especially if you have delicious food in your hand). If the seagulls are circling above you, watch out, you’re in the middle of the „Shitstorm Danger Zone“!
There are two different panels, each approx. 85 cm high: the blue panel with the Shitstorm Danger Zone and the seagulls on the side and the Task Force beach and the bandit seagull on light teal.
There is a matching all-over combination fabric for both panels, which of course also looks great on its own. The great, structured pattern can also be found in the background of the panels. As a combination fabric for sleeves, hoods or backs – but also great for plain trousers or hoodies without motifs. The two panel motifs with the matching combination in light teal and a beautiful, fresh shade of blue conjure up great possibilities for a sealife-worthy look. You can mix and match the designs from this range to create colour-coordinated looks.
You can play around so much with the panels – one motif for the front and one for the back, let the seagulls peek out of the seam at the side or place them at the bottom of the hem – even dresses are conceivable in combination with the matching all-over. The motif on the hood is also so cool, an absolute eye-catcher! You can really let off steam creatively here.

Seagull Ole Canvas
Seagull Ole has also nested directly on canvas and, as a fun DIY panel, offers every opportunity to conjure up a summery maritime look. How about eye-catching cushions for the balcony or patio? Or maybe a fun beach bag? Especially in combination with the striking all-over shell design „Shells“, you can really let off steam and give free rein to your ideas. Canvas is simply must at the moment, this quality is very much in demand and absolutely on trend. Bags, cushions, accessories and much more – you can get really creative with the new Thorsten Berger canvas.

AHOI! You landlubbers! Dive into a world full of adventure between pirates and parrots, on the high seas or underwater, between palm trees and islands. Sail around the world in a pirate ship and find the secret treasure!
The new collection from Anita Eberhardt aka Mrs Mint Design features a variety of pirate themes. Whether on land, on or under the water, there is something for everyone. There are different fabric designs in two beautiful colour worlds that appeal to boys and girls aged between 3 and 10 years.
Such a beautiful children’s series, once again a little more colourful and suitable for summer. A beautiful teal blue and a lovely light blue – for boys and girls, for little adventurers and wild pirates.

Anke from Cherry Picking has dedicated her new collection to her favourite motifs – Lovely Favs: It all started with her famous Mister Fox and his best buddy Mister Badger and you wanted to have them back on fabric so badly! Now we can fulfil this wish and there are absolute favourite designs as funny unisex Children’s collection on cosy cotton jersey. For boys and girls, so beautiful in combination with all your favourite basic colours.
We’re really looking forward to Mr Fox in light blue and royal blue and the matching stars in anthracite – so easy to combine with the foxes. Plus the cute ghosts/ghosts – there’s a rainbow ghost hiding here and there, so cute! You can also combine all the rainbow colours here! Mr Fox and his friends also come in striped fabrics. The fox wears a cute love boat hat. The love boat is also must for Mr Badger. Tiger Karl is also back again – like his mates, he tigers around on stripes in soft light blue. Brisa de Verano – A fabric collection inspired by the Spanish summer! The Brisa de Verano collection, created in collaboration with Swafing, embodies the lightness and joy of a carefree summer. Inspired by Julia Korff’s memories of summer fashion in Spain, the warm sun and the unmistakable style, a collection was created that captures exactly this feeling.
The designs are colourful and bright in summer, but at the same time classic and timeless. The combination of bold colours and fresh white gives the fabrics a special expressiveness and allows them to shine both on the beach and in the summery city. Everything can be wonderfully combined with each other – for complete, harmonious looks with viscose dresses or blouses, a matching jumper from the striped panels or in combination with a colourful jacket or bag from the canvas!

Viscose woven fabric Puntos
This beautiful viscose woven fabric features narrow stripes which, on closer inspection, are made up of lots of small dots. Such great details – the stripes running lengthwise consist of dots in the colours white, pink and red, which are strung together like little pearls. The dots are available in the colours dusky pink, white and royal blue. You can play wonderfully with the direction of the stripes, as here on the button placket and collar or on the back of the blouse!

Modal French Terry Lineas
The Lineas maritime design is reminiscent of walks by the sea and the scent of the salty breeze. The classic stripes in pink, grass green and royal blue have a special feature: the panel starts with a white area at the top, which breaks up the whole design wonderfully and is therefore ideal for the typical maritime shirts! Julia from lillesol & pelle loves the classic Breton shirts and will soon be releasing a matching pattern, perfectly coordinated with the Lineas panels.
The horizontal stripe pattern starts at a height of approx. 24 cm and extends over the entire rest of the panel. The panels are approx. 85 cm high. A very special panel – not a simple striped fabric! Here you can see the entire width of the fabric using the panel in pink, the other two colours below.
The fantastic quality, the special design, the fresh, maritime colours – an absolute favourite fabric! In addition to the Lovely Favs, we have another mega design from Anke / Cherry Picking. The Happy Leos were your trade fair favourites in previous years and were in high demand from retailers and from us! We were therefore very happy to reissue the coveted Leo prints – no more Cologne trade fair without Happy Leo! After modal French terry and viscose woven fabrics, we really wanted to bring out a Happy Leo canvas after the Canvas Story was also so successful in the trade. Especially as canvas is currently in high demand and is very popular in the current bag sewing trend.
Look forward to Happy Leo canvas in bright colours: bright red, strong royal blue and a beautiful grass green, each with a pink leo print. The bold colours create an absolute WOW effect. Characteristics Merino wool
Merino wool is breathable and warm and retains heat particularly well. Merino wool is able to regulate body temperature by transporting moisture to the outside. It is said that significantly fewer odours develop and merino wool has self-cleaning properties. Boiled Wool Merino
Boiled Merino wool or Merino Walk – our Merino item is a must-have for young and old! This item is so popular that we are offering it again by popular demand!
Article Merino is – as the name suggests – made from 100% pure new wool (merino wool) – a wonderful and very high-quality material! Merino fibres are only half as thick as conventional new wool and are much softer and finer and, above all, even more comfortable to wear in direct contact with the skin, such as in hats or loops, and not at all scratchy! This lighter boiled wool is not as thick as conventional wool and is ideal if you’re looking for a slightly lighter material for tops, boiled wool overalls, jackets and coats, hats, scarves, cuffs and more! So lovely for women’s coats, but also very suitable for children’s wear. This natural material retains body heat, is breathable and temperature-regulating and keeps you and your loved ones wonderfully warm.
So great to work with: You can simply cut merino and don’t necessarily have to serge or line models made from it – cool open edges that don’t fray and with just a few seams you have a new favourite piece – which you can enjoy for many years to come!
So popular at the moment: twisted/twisted headbands with knots in them, merino is ideal for this. It is absolutely non-scratchy and looks so great. Of course, this trendy sewing idea can also be realised with merino knit.

Merino-Strick (Merino knit)

We are delighted with this new quality! Our cosy, soft merino fleece made from 100% pure new wool (merino wool) is a fantastic wool fleece. A great addition or alternative to fleece fabric – perfect for the winter and transitional seasons. The merino fleece is even softer than a fuller’s wool, does not need to be lined and feels pleasant against the skin. With its walklike, non-slip structure, combined with significantly more stretch, it is ideal for styles that require freedom of movement.

We don’t even need to introduce you to Bono – the much-loved Italian cotton knit with elastane has conquered our hearts and has become an integral part of the Swafing range! A real Cologne trade fair tradition and very popular with both our customers and the trade. Bono impresses with its high cotton content of 70 % and its gorgeous, slightly brushed surface. Self-sewn favourites that will stay with us for a long time – Bono is easy to wash and still looks really nice even after frequent wear! Bono has the same composition and surface as Knit Bene, but is even cosier and fluffier on the back and therefore a little warmer. So versatile: triangular shawls, tops, hoodies, cardigans, loops, turtleneck dresses, hats, accessories and more can be made from Bono in many beautiful colours.

Heavy Leo Heavy Sweat
Absolutely trendy leopard print in fantastic colours on heavy sweat! We used the popular Hanni heavyweight sweat fabric as the base fabric and printed the fantastic leopard print on it.
Cuddly roughened, with a colour-matching reverse, super soft and warm – a dream! The quality is so well received that we are delighted to be able to offer printed heavy sweat. The trendy design is available in two bright colours and a few more muted ones. The brightly coloured fabrics have the colours pink with Grass green and purple with yellow. A more muted look is achieved with teal with mint, dusky pink, blush with brown, dark red with black and anthracite with black.
So cool for sweat jackets, hoodies, hoodie dresses, warm sweatpants and much more! The thicker heavy sweat is simply great on cooler days, you don’t need the thick winter jacket straight away, just pull on the cosy hoodie or sweat jacket over it. Ideal for cooler evenings from autumn onwards and of course indispensable in winter!

Victorian Damask Collection by Bienvenido Colorido
Nelli Simböck’s autumn collection began as an experiment. Instead of working with vectors, the designer dared to use a new brush in the drawing programme and painted with a mixture of watercolour and chalk without any sketches. She then arranged these motifs in a classic damask form, coloured some of the entire design and scattered the flowers on French Terry as a combination. Fantastic vintage colours, modern colour accents, beautiful designs – we’d say the experiment was a success!
In Victorian times, flowers had a very special meaning and people said things „through the flower“ and let flowers speak for themselves. As you know, our motto is „fabrics instead of flowers“ – we are taking you back to Victorian times with Victorian Flowers! The collection includes viscose woven fabrics, modal French terry and canvas.

The ornamental, Victorian floral designs are shown to their best advantage on the viscose woven fabric. Here, the Victorian Flowers are tinted and shine tone on tone in Bordeaux old pink, denim blue-petrol and emerald/petrol.

A beautiful jersey series! Flowers & Wood comes on the popular quality from 90 % cotton with 10 % elastane – Made in Europe! The beautifully coordinated designs have fantastically harmonious colours: vanilla, soft smoky blue, dark blue and pink – something completely different!
There are bears on vanilla, mini flowers on smoky blue, scattered flowers on dark blue and flowers on the delicate vanilla colour. Our autumn/winter colours, especially the trendy blush 272, are also so beautiful, as the combination with the small fuller’s waistcoat from Naomi AW25/26 shows.

Cotton jersey Lathi
A cute cotton jersey collection for autumn – for girls and boys with beautiful motifs. Lathi is available in five designs: Forest animals such as bears, mice, birds and chipmunks romp through the forest. There are wild boar piglets on a light teal with very fine stripes and the little foxes on a vanilla beige and light grey. There is also a mega cute winter design with toadstools and mice in Christmas hats – even the Santa stocking and a Christmas decoration are included. Lathi can be combined very well with Swafing Basics!

We have five beautiful colours for you – beige, grey, berry, dark green and blue – each with a felt side in beige. Wooly doesn’t need to be lined and is simply something very special. We can’t wait to see what you sew from it!

A completely new quality immediately impressed us! Mirco is a smooth Vintage imitation leather with a beautiful sheen in gorgeous colours. Mirco looks very robust, but is wonderfully soft, not at all firm or stiff, so that you can even sew winter jackets from it!

French Terry Geoluxe Leo Blockstreifen (block stripes)
We love the XXL leo block stripes! The block stripes are NOT a PANEL, but a continuous design with stripes approx. 25-26 cm high. You can play wonderfully with the pattern – as you can see from the models, it always looks different depending on the arrangement of the stripes on the pattern!
The design with the patterned stripes and the single-coloured wide stripes in between looks so great and is ideal for anyone who is just getting to grips with leo and doesn’t want to go all out in leo print just yet. Wild: animal print and trendy colours – for stylish dresses, jumpers, jackets, trousers and more!
Our tip: use a leo stripe as a turtleneck as seen on Claudia’s red model!

French Terry Geoluxe Argyle
We love the Geoluxe Argyle panels! “Argyle“ refers to a diamond pattern that is arranged in a chessboard pattern. Particularly eye-catching are the lines in contrasting colours, which are aligned in a cross and thus divide the diamonds into four smaller diamonds.
The sophisticated panel is something very special: the 1m high panel has the striking diamond stripe with the argyle pattern and another border in a bright colour at the bottom. This piece can be used wonderfully as a cuff, but also for ruffles on the jumper, as a short sleeve or as a stripe insert in the sleeve – there are so many cool ideas in the design examples! The colour of the stripe is the colour of the fine diamond line, so this is picked up again. Matching accessories in this colour will also take your look to the next level!
The diamond panel is available with and without a leo pattern in three colours – here is an example of the red version. The leo rhombus matches the Geoluxe Plain Leo French Terry perfectly, so you can combine the two items wonderfully.
You can play around with the placement of the diamond – Leo in the centre or on the sides – it always looks different!
Argyle French Terry is ideal for jumpers, shirts, hoodies, cropped tops and more. Many patterns can be realised with the 1m high panel. Our tip: style your argyle jumper with trendy velvet trousers in a leopard design!
