As usual, mwe will present our new products in detail here, on social media and in the show – of course with many design examples for your inspiration! We will present them in our new studio and are so excited to see how you like it!

We were immediately excited about this new quality and it was no question that we wanted to offer it to you at the Swafing in-house show!
Our new Merino knit is wonderfully soft, a very fine, soft Merino knit fabric. The very high quality fabric made of 100% virgin wool (Merino wool) does not scratch and can therefore be worn very well directly on the skin. Merino knitwear falls wonderfully soft and has valuable properties:
Merino is breathable and warming and retains heat particularly well. In warmer temperatures it cools through evaporative cooling, in colder temperatures it even warms when slightly damp without feeling clammy. Merino wool is able to regulate body temperature by wicking moisture to the outside. It is said that significantly fewer odours form and merino wool has self-cleaning properties. It is ideal to let the clothes air out overnight after wearing them, for example!
Our new merino knit is ideal for hiking, mountain sports, ski clothing/underwear, for any outdoor sport because of its good properties. Not only mountain bikers swear by narrow, high tube scarves / functional scarves that you can wear as a scarf, cap, headband, neck guard and more, and also pull them in front of your face so that the air you breathe is warmed up and you don’t get so chilled! The Balaclavas / ski mask caps, which can be easily sewn from merino knit, also work with this principle.
Merino knitwear is not only ideal for sports and outdoor wear, but also for all kinds of conventional clothing: dresses, knitted tops, children’s clothing and bodysuits, scarves, hats and shawls – the possibilities are endless!
Now in seven colours: With natural white and dark grey, there are two mottled versions, plus the five solid colours of old rose, emerald, dark blue, denim blue and black!

New children’s fabrics with enchanting designs – Christiane Zielinski inspires with her lovely illustrations. Beautifully drawn, very simple and yet so special – that is cotton jersey Zilli!
Come with us to the farm! There is so much to discover here – the tractor, the barn and the doghouse, the willow fence and of course all the farm animals – cow and horse, the little pig wallowing in the mud, dog and cat and of course rooster and hen!

Dinosaurs and prehistoric times fascinate many children – fascinating creatures that lived many millions of years ago. Christiane Zielinski has captured the prehistoric creatures in earthy tones on cotton jersey. Included: Pteranodon, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, Raptor and of course the T-Rex! A bubbling volcano, leaves, plants and stones round off the dino design.
The cute kittens have so much fun: they hide in the cardboard box, chase the ball of wool or try to fish the goldfish out of the aquarium. After all the frolicking, it’s time for a nap in the cat basket. Cats and mice on striped jersey in natural white and light beige.
Our tip: The new jerseys combine very nicely with our boiled wool Naomi or Naomi-Melange as lining for jackets, coats or overalls!

Double Slub Muslin Chrissi by Christiane Zielinski
Our newest quality – now also with the dreamlike designs of Christiane Zielinski! Brand new for the Swafing in-house exhibition is the new Double Slub Musselin: Double Slub Musselin is a double-layered muslin with a dreamy linen look. The fabric hardly shrinks, remains smooth even after washing and keeps its shape beautifully. Double slub muslin is slightly heavier and more densely woven than conventional muslin, not transparent and falls wonderfully soft. Absolute year-round quality, ideal for young and old, for dresses, tops, trousers, shawls and accessories! The new double slub muslin is also wonderful for children! You can work wonderfully fine with it, whether blouses, dresses, jumpsuits, trousers, shawls or even cute matching hairbands, which sit nice and light and don’t pinch!
Double Slub Musselin Chrissi is available with a beautiful farm design and dinos in two colours as well as with two floral designs with meadow flowers on pink or white and light pink. The flower designs are worked in a watercolour look with aquarelle colours. The various meadow flowers are freely and loosely painted in light, pastel shades! Wonderfully spring-like and summery, but also beautiful all year round! There are two designs: one with yellow and pink flowers on a pink background, the other with small flowers with isolated pink accents on white and light pink.

Double Slub Musselin & Double Gauze
New quality: Double Slub Muslin
We loved our newest quality immediately and we are sure you will love it just as much!
Double Slub Musselin is a double-layered muslin with a fantastic slub structure that gives it a wonderful linen look! The special thing about the new muslin fabric: Double Slub Musselin does not crinkle after washing, i.e. it does not have a crushed surface, but remains smooth, keeps its shape and hardly shrinks at all. A really nice, smooth muslin quality that is somewhat thicker, heavier and more densely woven than conventional muslin. It has a stronger feel, is not sheer and simply falls beautifully soft! Even with light and white designs you don’t have to worry about seeing through – the new quality is opaque. On the front side our new double slub muslin inspires with the slub structure / linen structure, the back side is smooth. The Double Slub Muslin is an absolute year-round quality and is ideal for blouses, shirts, tops, dresses, summery blazers, trousers & shorts, for shawls & accessories – absolutely versatile and can be used in both children’s and adult’s ranges.

As the new quality is versatile for babies, children and adults, we have many great designs for young and old! Perfect for trousers, dresses, blouses, tops of all kinds, light blazers, airy jumpsuits and of course for scarves and accessories! The beautiful, firm quality wears nice and light, stays smooth even after washing and is not see-through! The great slub structure / linen look gives the beautiful designs a wonderful structure and depth! Joy has a white reverse side.
Included: Cute deer, enchanting flower fairies on soft pink and the funny builder mole with dungarees, helmet and shovel. Plus two maritime designs with sea creatures: Sea turtles, seahorses, fish, starfish and corals in beige tones and whales, dolphins, jellyfish, corals and all kinds of fish in blue tones.

For the Swafing in-house fair, there are many designs on our double gauze muslin Thea in addition to the new Double Slub Muslin! Wonderfully light, wonderfully comfortable to wear, wonderfully airy and cool on the skin in warmer temperatures – a fantastic material! After washing, this fabric gets its typical crinkle look! Meanwhile an absolute year-round article, also in ready-to-wear! Double Gauze is wonderful for clothes for adults and children: Shirts, dresses, harem trousers and of course blouses in all variations like the currently trendy oversize/long blouses, with which you are perfectly dressed together with leggings in no time! Thea is also ideal for cute fashion for the very little ones – like the cute „bloomers“ called, short baby trousers, dungarees, bodysuits or cute blouses or dresses. Included: Many wonderful children’s designs like the sea animals in the underwater world – turtles or seahorses and jellyfish in a dreamy watercolour look. Seersucker Anneli
Anneli is a seersucker made of pure cotton: seersucker is a slightly creped fabric that has a great three-dimensional crash effect on the surface.
Anneli has a very fine stripe, which is created by the different tension of the warp threads during weaving. This fine stripe is tone-in-tone and, depending on the model, looks classy / buisinesslike, casual or springy / summery!
The special surface of seersucker makes it very comfortable to wear, as it does not lie completely against the skin and ensures good air circulation. The 100% cotton material is soft and pleasant on the skin, ideal all year round, but also on hot days. Anneli is easy to work with and impresses with its special look and feel. Seersucker makes great trousers (shorts and summer trousers), dresses, blouses, skirts and even bed linen – very versatile!

Cotton woven fabric Sanna & Marin
Another fantastic woven fabric is our new mottled cotton chambray Sanna in 8 beautiful melange colours and the white version, which is offered under the name Marin in plain (without melange effect). This quality is characterised by its great structure and linen look, which comes out wonderfully on the mottled colours in article Sanna as well as on the plain white article Marin.
The slub structure and the melange effect give this actually super-simple woven fabric a great, varied look and a special character and, in addition to decoration such as cushions, utensil boxes, little bags and table linen, it is also wonderfully suitable for clothing: summer trousers, ladies‘ blouses and shirt dresses, men’s shirts, children’s clothing and much more! Sanna and Marin are very easy to work with, our design seamstress was thrilled!

Simone eyelet embroidery
The eyelet cotton embroidery with scalloped edges on both sides is so beautifully spring-like and can be used in so many different ways. For the very youngest, the openwork cotton woven fabric in five delicate colours can be used to sew cute summery one-piece suits or charming christening dresses. For older children, it can be used to make festive communion dresses or summer blouses and – as in our model example – sweet little dresses and accessories in a nostalgic style.

Eyelet embroidery can also be beautifully combined with plain woven fabric – tone-in-tone in white or natural white or by underlaying something colourful and letting it shine through. The beautiful scalloped edge forms an elegant hemline.
Besides spring and summer fashion, the translucent fabrics embroidered with vines and flowers are used for bassinets, cradles, as romantic bed linen or the canopy for a four-poster bed, for home decorations, curtains and much more! The scalloped edge can also be wonderfully used here instead of a hem. Simone can be used on both sides!

The gorgeous summery designs on viscose woven fabric Marlene really put you in a good mood and make you want to enjoy the warmer temperatures! We are simply sewing our way into spring and summer!
The three floral designs convince with their bright colours and the beautifully composed designs – in them you become an absolute eye-catcher! Whether as an expressive combination of shorts and blouse or combined with plain colours as a little splash of colour – we love viscose woven fabric Marlene! The beautiful viscose woven fabric with the lovely floral designs has a very nice drape – ideal for blouses, dresses, jumpsuits, summer trousers, shawls and more!

There is a design with pineapple, monstera, mango and palm trees, with the sunrise suggested in the background. This version is in harmonious shades of lilac, mint and rose. The summery design with large expressive flowers in bright colours inspires in red-orange-turquoise-pink-purple and on the third print you see large flowers in bright pink and purple.

Our popular stretch satin is made of cotton with 3% elastane. This makes it slightly elastic and ideal for garments! The quality gives nicely, is not too tight and you have enough room for skirts, trousers and shorts, blazers and blousons, dresses and suits, with more cuts even for casual sweater-style tops:

Combine to your heart’s content – nothing could be easier! Kansas is our new large combination series on cotton woven fabric in the popular Kim quality. The beautiful series includes many ornaments in a retro look – flowers, stylised leaves, retro circles and more! The small patterned cotton fabrics are available in the colour worlds apricot and light blue with cream white as well as anthracite with cream, light blue and apricot. This makes everything fit together wonderfully and you can sew such beautiful models from the coordinated colours and designs!

Woven cotton Tom
We are pleased to present a huge range of patterned cotton woven fabrics in our proven Kim and Dotty quality for the Swafing in-house show. This quality is suitable for many sewing ideas from clothing to decoration to bags/accessories!
The back-to-school season is approaching and soon school dresses, shirts and especially school bags will be sewn! Also ideal for gym bags, school bags, pencil cases and more.
We have a variety of matching designs – like the colourful numbers and letters, the crayons and the beautiful school utensil design with globe, blackboard, notebooks, apple, colour palette, pencil, ball and many more things you need at school! Of course, it doesn’t always have to be something with school motifs – we also have many other designs for every taste!
For example, bees and honeycombs in sunny yellow and white – very popular not only with sewing bees! So beautiful also the drawn unicorns with rainbows, cloud, hearts and stars on a black background!
You have a choice of three beautiful lavender designs – a more subtle design in powdery light colours and strong purple lavender with and without butterflies. Mara’s school cone is adorned with the butterfly design – here you can also see how beautifully cotton woven fabric Dotty matches it!
For the school cone we combined Tom and Dotty with plain woven fabric Heide and our honeycomb tulle!

Dino alarm – the primeval creatures are particularly popular with children of pre-school and primary school age! There are three dino designs – for example the dino silhouettes, the colourful dinos with the ROAR lettering and the design with the dinos in outer space! We also have two cool football prints – In black and turquoise with the lettering FOOTBALL or on a green background.
Once across the vegetable patch and ideal for market bags and table linen or kitchen decoration: our vegetable designs like tomatoes, carrots and colourful mixed vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peas, carrots, beetroot and cabbage or iceberg lettuce. For dessert there are juicy watermelons – on woven Tim in a great watercolour look!
The tulip season has already begun and we are bringing spring into our homes with the floral tulip designs! Beautiful tulips in spring colours and in red-pink – like all other Tom designs very well combinable with plain woven fabric Heide!
Last but not least, there is a beautiful combination series with colourful rain clouds, raindrops and rainbows – so beautifully colourful and great to combine! The simple colourful rain clouds are available on a dark blue background in a large size and on white and dark blue as a smaller design. Cotton canvas Valentin
Valentin is our new cotton canvas in two designs! The rain clouds (which can also be found on woven Tom) are available in the large size in white and in dark blue.
The brightly coloured BEACHLIFE lettering is visible from both sides – don’t worry about getting it wrong when cutting – Valentin BEACHLIFE looks great from all sides! Wonderfully suitable for beach bags, beach utensils and summer decorations! The colourful stripes with the white letters are available in 3 cm and 7 cm heights. This design is wonderfully colour-coordinated with the Nelson articles in the colours 100010, 100748, 100712, 100313, 100744 and 100933 – so the Nelson waffle piqué bathrobe or towel matches the new Valentin canvas beach bag or outdoor blanket perfectly!
The articles Valentin and Tom can be combined very well with each other and with plain fabrics such as woven Heide, canvas Calvin or also with imitation leather Rex! Very cool: On the BEACHLIFE bag, the narrow lettering was sewn onto the handle made of Rex faux leather!

Ilana – Made in Europe!
Three beautifully coordinated canvas series are new to the Swafing decorative fabric shelf: Canvas Ilana inspires with harmonious colours and motifs that are very suitable for bags, cushions, tablecloths, utensil boxes and more. Even though canvas is mainly used for decoration and accessories, we can also imagine jackets or other clothing made of it!
The beautiful series in old mint/emerald tones includes three designs: the small eucalyptus leaves, the washed-out stripes in watercolour look and the splashes of colour on a light background – perfectly coordinated!

The second Ilana series is very elegant and harmonious and a bit retro – imaginative leaves or feathers, flowers and feathers or leaves as well as the retro circle ornaments harmonise so beautifully in terms of colour that we would love to start sewing with them straight away! For wonderful bags or table decorations – and much more!
At OmaLie, Ilana became a gorgeous tablecloth with matching napkins and placemats in Calvin plain canvas in colours 011 and 673!
Smoky blue, mint and toned down colours and designs reminiscent of minerals – these canvas designs are so harmonious with each other! There is a graphic pattern on mint, the black flowers on the watercolour ground, the fans in powdery colours and the expressive floral design on smoky blue. Here, too, you can combine to your heart’s content! But all the designs also look great on their own, as you can see from the shopping bag!

Cotton jersey Sesame Street
We are happy about new licensed jerseys from Sesame Street!
For the Swafing in-house exhibition there are new designs with Ernie & Bert, Cookie Monster and Elmo.
Since not only children like these designs, but also many older ones love the heroes of their childhood, we have new Sesame Street jerseys for young and old for you!
There are panels of Elmo and Cookie Monster, each with three motifs arranged next to each other – the panel is approx. 70 cm high, each of the three elements is approx. 55 cm wide!
The cookie monster panel in turquoise/blue is all about cookies, as always, while the Elmo panel is in red and orange.
There are two allover jerseys to match the panels (for sleeves or backs or for leggings to go with the shirt), which are of course also very nice to sew on their own – one in turquoise with Krümelmonster and his cookies, the other variant in red with Elmo and stars.
Everything fits together perfectly!
„Teamwork makes the dream work“ – the saying simply fits the Swafing Team perfectly!
The Ernie and Bert panels are approx. 80 cm high and therefore also suitable for taller people. On one side of the panel is the grey motif (approx. 23 cm wide, 32 cm high) with Ernie and Bert with sneakers and cool college jackets.
In the background and across the entire width of the fabric is an exciting background structure in red or black with small dots, which makes for a very interesting look.

If you like Dotty, you will love Joris! We have a great jersey for you with the popular Dotty dots in 11 beautiful tone-on-tone colours and in black with white dots! Inspired by cotton woven fabric, the somewhat larger Joris dots were created, which are beautiful on their own, but can also be combined with Dotty, for example, for school dresses or shirts made of jersey with matching school cones or sports bags made of woven fabric.

Rib jersey / Drop Needle Jersey Mia
Ribbed jersey is very much in demand and plays an important role in current fashion. Structured fabrics are very trendy, and the rib structure gives the models made from them that certain something. Our ribbed jersey Mia has a very nice quality. Ribbed jersey is so versatile: Besides shirts, hats and bloomers, the hip, softly falling rib jersey is perfect for women’s fashion: dresses, loungewear, underwear, vests, tops, shirts, cropped tops, trousers, skirts, accessories and much more!
We have five floral designs on rib jersey Mia: apricot flowers on a light background, butterflies and dragonflies on mint, a beautiful, very warm looking design with butterflies and twigs on nature and the twigs and leaves on dark blue and nature.

Sew the summer: viscose jersey Mika
Viscose jersey is a fantastic material not only in summer – very pleasant on the skin, depending on the pattern and styling to wear classy or casual, soft to the touch and above all beautifully flowing in the fall.
We have seven beautiful summery designs for you! The monster leaves and pineapples in shades of lilac-mint-rose and the summery design with the large expressive flowers in bright colours, red, orange, turquoise, pink and lilac have inspired us so much that we also offer them on viscose woven fabric Marlene. The cool black leo pattern on the background of apricot-orange in watercolour look is guaranteed to catch everyone’s eye!
Also included: flowers in white-blue on red and in white-orange on deep dark blue as well as cherries on white and deep dark blue.

French Terry Aura
French Terry – unbrushed sweat – is one of your absolute favourite qualities, as these fabrics can be worn wonderfully all year round. For the Swafing in-house exhibition there are three beautiful summer sweats: The deep dark blue flowers / petals create an interesting design on the rose / apricot coloured French Terry! The leo print in watercolour look is something very special with its colour gradients – there are the harmonious lilac/rose blue tones on white and dark blue. As you can see on the model, the colour gradient is not too big – really great to sew for absolute favourite pieces!

NANO-Softshell
NANO-Softshell Fiete
Fiete is a true classic and very much in demand – the Swafing range would be unthinkable without the popular NANO-Softshell with its ever-changing, trendy prints! The beautiful quality is ideal for self-sewn favourite pieces that get active people through any weather well: Water- and wind-repellent, with a breathable membrane and even still certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®! Fiete has a medium grey fleece side and doesn’t necessarily need to be lined and is so nice and cosy from the inside! Ideal for clothing such as jackets, windbreakers, waistcoats and coats, rain trousers, mud trousers and overalls for the little ones, but also for outdoor cushions, accessories and bags, culture bags, backpacks or gym bags. For bags, Fiete is often combined with Rex imitation leather. Softshell is so easy to work with and you always get a wonderful result! For the in-house exhibition we have 18 new Fiete designs for you!
