Swafing Licensed Fabrics Terms of Use
- Images of licensed fabrics purchased by private individuals for private use may be shared on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram or on their own private website and/or blog.
- Licensed fabrics purchased by private individuals may be sewn privately and the results may used to communicate sewing inspiration, as long as it is indicated that the item was sewn by that individual, and that the item is not being offered for sale.
- Images of both unsewn fabric pieces and items in finished form made from licensed fabrics purchased by private individuals may be shown on commercial web sites, as long as it is indicated, that the fabric was used privately and that the finished item is not being offered for sale.
- Commercial use and sale of items made from Swafing licensed fabrics is not permitted under any circumstance.
- Wholesale customers (registered retail partners, who have purchased their fabric through Swafing) are only permitted to sell licensed fabric as cut yardage within the EU. Export outside the EU is not permitted.
- Wholesale customers are not permitted to sell finished items made from licensed fabrics.
- Registered retail partners may display finished items sewn from licensed fabrics for promotional purposes, as long as it is indicated, that the item is a design example only and not for sale.
- Images of the fabric photographed either by the wholesale customer or provided to the wholesale customer by Swafing may be used for advertising and promotion of the fabric. Please note, the licensor does not permit the reproduction of the isolated graphics (logos, characters, and/or other imagery) in any form anywhere (print materials/Internet/Point-of-Sale), nor does the licensor allow the use of isolated graphics in photographs!
