Elegancy by Lycklig Design
Simply elegant: In Modal-French Terry Elegancy, a tasteful, marbled pattern meets brilliant colour gradients. Thus, the elegant fabrics look extremely refined despite the simple pattern! A small amount of elastane in the Swafing Summer Sweat with Modal provides a very nice elasticity in both directions – this means you could also turn the fabric and let the colour stripes run lengthwise!
The marbled modal sweat Elegancy is available in three colourways: With colour gradient tone-in-tone in different shades of blue or in pink-berry as well as in the expressive multi-coloured gradient mint-pink-purple. These are not panels, but continuous patterns!

Otterly Happy by bienvenido colorido
The latest cotton jersey by Nell Simboeck just makes you happy, or more precisely: Otterly Happy! The cute otters cavort on the smoky blue jersey with irregular white stripes. Did you know that otters really hold hands? They spend most of their time in the water, even when they are resting. But so that they don’t lose each other then, they hold each other by their paws. The cute otters with the snub nose and cuddly fur are now available as a 100 cm high panel with the inscription „Just an Otter Day“.
The beautiful motif is approx. 20 cm high and therefore not too big and not too small! It is on a background of irregular stripes in smoky blue and natural white that stretch across the entire width of approx. 160 cm.
The matching all-over design shows otter heads emerging from the smoky blue and white striped water. This combines very well with the Otter panel, but is also lovely on its own and combined with Swafing Basics.

Thorsten Berger fabrics simply inspire everyone! We couldn’t make up our minds, so we’re bringing three great articles in different qualities to the Swafing in-house exhibition in August 2022. For big and small, for men and women, for kids and teens – there’s something for everyone!
NANO-Softshell Little Monsters
These little monsters probably need to go back to monster school, because nobody is afraid of these grumpy, clumsy or bizarre little monsters! On the contrary, the funny Little Monsters simply put you in a good mood and it’s really fun to discover the many funny monster characters on the NANO softshell.

Viscose woven fabric Asteria
Depending on the variety, asters bloom from spring until well into autumn. We love viscose woven fabric all year round and are delighted to be able to offer you a dreamlike design on our beautiful, somewhat firmer viscose quality for the Swafing in-house show!
Every year, the blossoms of asters bring another bright accent of colour to the dreary autumn season. The magnificent aster blossoms unfold their luminosity in trendy, expressive autumn colours: The viscose woven fabric in emerald, dark blue and bordeaux inspires with the overlapping aster silhouettes and the expressive outlines in contrasting colours.
Our printed viscose woven fabric is a little firmer and has a great, firm feel. At the same time, it is beautifully lightly draping and flowing and is wonderful to work with. The beautiful, grippy material is not see-through, does not need to be lined and is therefore ideal for dresses and skirts, but also for blouses or blouse shirts.

French Terry Ready to Play
How about a round of street soccer to heat up the asphalt while you bolt? Or do you prefer skating, basketball or working out with your buddies? Now is the perfect time to get active outside. Especially when little sports ferrets battle it out with seasoned dinos in a team. But of course „FAIR PLAY“ is always a priority! The new French Terry panels with matching allover designs are ideal for everyone who likes cool, sporty designs!
Approx. motif heights: Ferret approx. 28 cm, dino approx. 30 cm, white stripe approx. 19 cm, football approx. 14 cm, Ready to Play motif approx. 27 cm.
Ready to Play, that’s four approx. 85 cm high panels and four all-over designs that can be wonderfully combined with the panels, but are also so cool on their own! On a stylish concrete look with a white stripe, there is the ferret in street style and the cool dinosaur with the jersey number 01.
Perfect for all football fans is the football with the black stripe that stretches across the entire width of the fabric! Here you can see how well the allover prints can be combined! The allover designs are perfect for combining with the panels, for example for sleeves or hoods, but also for matching shorts or trousers. Of course, they can also be sewn alone or with Swafing Basics or combined with each other!
There is the simple concrete pattern of the grey-ground panels and a matching grey fabric with a texture of irregular black dots. Also very cool are the white speckles on a black background (like the background of the Ready to Play panel) and the design with the stylish and bold Fair Play lettering.
Sporty hoodies, shorts, trousers, dresses or entire outfits made from soft French Terry are simply ideal for casually stylin‘ through the ‚hood or meeting up for a game or to gamble.

Cotton woven fabric Werner
Autumn is approaching and it’s time for an update in the woven fabric shelf! We were immediately taken with the new autumnal designs in bright colours, which are so wonderfully accentuated on the dark brown ground! Noble nature motifs like maple leaves, various twigs and leaves – including a dreamy small patterned design in three colours – so beautiful! There are also cute little apples, rain clouds and raindrops as well as a geometric design with triangles. The dreamlike motifs are just right now, but they are by far not only usable in autumn.
A whole twelve variations of Werner woven fabrics – of course, everything can be wonderfully combined with each other! We really feel like sewing bags, accessories and decorations from it – or a great patchwork quilt from all the designs? But Werner can do even more and is also ideal as a lining or combination fabric with our boiled wool Naomi & Naomi-Melange or article Merino – as a cute detail for whale suits or jackets.

Something completely different from red & green: The new Christmas range is very stylish and classy in the colours black and white with prints in metallic look – the golden colour looks so realistic!
So beautiful: Christmas lettering like Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho, Have a holly jolly Christmas – and many more – each in black and white or white and black with golden details. Brushed Flannel Jack
A dream of a fabric! Jack is a brushed flannel that is wonderfully soft to the touch and to wear. The yarn-dyed material made of pure cotton is manufactured in Europe. The approx. 1.5 cm checks come in five beautiful colourways: Grey, black and dark blue with natural white as well as red and khaki each with black.
The checked flannel can be used on both sides and has a bit of stand, making it ideal for jackets and the trendy stylish shirt jackets called „shacket“. Skirts, shirt blouses and dresses also succeed in no time at all from the super easy-to-sew material and wear very comfortably. Jack is so cosy and soft – ideal also for cosy loungewear or pyjamas – Christmas can come!

Where fox and rabbit say „good night“ to each other, raccoon and deer are usually not far away. The animals of the forest gather on the beautiful cotton jersey Wood Animals. There are three designs in the trendy watercolour style – the woodland animals, twigs with leaves and berries or rose hips and the more filled-in design with foxes and all kinds of twigs and berries. These look wonderful on natural white or dark blue jersey and can be combined wonderfully with each other and with Swafing Basics. Very nice for the little ones but by far not only suitable for small children – especially the small patterned design with the leaves and berries we also see for older and adults.

New licence: Cotton jersey Sesame Street
I’m sure there’s hardly anyone among you who doesn’t know Sesame Street and grew up with Ernie, Bert, Krümel, Grobi, Oscar and Co. That’s why the latest licensed jerseys are not just for kids, but older kids will also love the great jerseys with the Sesame Street heroes! That’s why we are launching the Sesame Street fabrics directly as new Swafing standard items and can not only offer them from stock, but will also carry them in our licensed fabric range beyond.
We have four great panels and four allover designs for you! The panels are approx. 75 cm high. There is Oscar on a cool panel in grey with longitudinal strokes and Elmo as a rock star on an emerald background with a cool structure. The motifs are each approx. 21 cm high and the background pattern extends across the entire width of the fabric:

The panels with Elmo and with the Cookie Monster each show two motifs that can be used for two models or for front and back. The larger of the motifs is approx. 17 and 18 cm high respectively.

There are a total of four cheerful allover designs: the small, colourful heads with Sesame Street residents Ernie and Bert, Elmo and Abby, Grobi, Krümelmonster, Oscar and Bibo, the pink-ground jersey with the silhouettes of the Sesame Street friends in the background and the great light blue fabric with the colourful heads in front of the iconic Sesame Street sign. There is also a fun jersey with crumbs and his cookies on a dark blue background.

Theo is our cotton jersey with elastane with beautiful designs for all ages. For the in-house show we have four new jerseys in autumnal colours – beautiful for big and small!
The dots patterned with different textures and the multicoloured leaf silhouettes make the jerseys in bordeaux-grey or dark green-natural white-ochre look very varied. Very nice to combine, but also very beautiful on their own. No need for fancy cuts: even on the simplest shirt patterns the beautiful designs unfold their effect! When it gets cooler, we love to snuggle up in our favourite hoodie made of cosy brushed winter sweat! For the in-house exhibition, we present a huge range of sweats on the beautiful cuddly brushed sweat quality with 295 g / m². Our new Sweat Montreal is nice and thick and warm and with the many great designs and colours there is something for everyone!
The cool graffiti designs in vibrant colours have excited us right away – one pink-purple-ground with abstract shapes and letters, one royal blue with football, electric guitar, headphones, controller, monster, lettering and funny illustrations – there is so much to discover!

For small and large gamers: the gaming design with controllers, Play and Win lettering and everything that makes a gamer’s heart beat faster! Red-blue on black and petrol-yellow on dark blue.
The bold, abstract brushstrokes in coordinated colours have a very special effect! Tone on tone in shades of green or blue and in harmonious pastel shades with pink and mint on black.
Let’s go to New York City – the striking design with the large-scale brush-on letters „NYC“, drawings and blobs is available in three bright colourways: mustard, burgundy and green on black.
Abstract designs are all the rage – here the wildly jagged pattern, reminiscent of outfits from the 80s. You have the choice between a more delicate version with light yellow, purple, pink and emerald and a more intense colour scheme with khaki, burgundy, terra and mustard.
Such a beautiful fox design – you may remember it from cotton woven Bodo! The foxes play amidst the autumnal flowers and leaves and little birds. Quilted Sweat & Waffle Knit
Textured fabrics continue to be all the rage – these must-haves are easy to sew into absolute favourites and are an enrichment to any range thanks to the current colours and interesting textures. For the in-house fair we have two wonderful articles with very special textures for you!
Quilted Sweat Stephanie
One of our favourites that our sample sewing team is absolutely thrilled with! No wonder: the double-sided quilted sweat / Stepper in eight fashionable autumn colours looks so great with its 1 cm diamonds and is so versatile – wonderful for ladies and gentlemen and for the very little ones!

The new quilted sweat has a pleasant thickness, is nice and warm but not too thick. The quilted fabric made of cotton with an intermediate layer of polyester has a bit of stand and is therefore ideal for jackets and waistcoats, it also convinces with its great feel and drape for overalls, overcoat hoodies and jumpers.
Ideal for college jackets: Jackets made of quilted sweat are sewn quickly because the material can be used on both sides and no additional lining fabric is necessary. In the blink of an eye, you have a new favourite piece in a trendy quilted look in your wardrobe!
Stephanie can also be embroidered very well – aren’t the college-style letters great?
Quilted Sweat Stephanie is absolutely unisex and creates an interesting look with its beautiful quilting. For waistcoats, jackets, tops, hoodies and shorts, but also in the children’s sector for overalls and bloomers.
The quilted fabric is very easy to cut and sew – you should generally allow enough seam allowance for quilting and overcast or overlock it. Embroidery and topstitching are also easy, our test sewers loosened the thread tension a little in some cases.

Waffle Knit Rocko
Another new favourite fabric is Waffle Knit Rocko – the gorgeous 100% cotton material has a waffled / more structured side and one with a slightly less pronounced structure. Both look great and you can use the cotton knit on both sides, which also makes it ideal for cardigans and jackets!

The waffle knit is suitable for women, men and children and is absolutely universal: hoodies, tops, skirts, pumphoses, blouson jackets and also blazers and longer cardigans as well as ponchos are easy to make and very comfortable to wear. Rocko is very beautiful and soft in drape, therefore also ideal for knitted dresses and skirts. But that’s not all – cuddly cushions or a dreamy knitted blanket for the corner of the sofa are sewn super quickly and you can enjoy them for a long time! Rocko is also ideal as a lining for softshell jackets or other jackets or coats and provides cosy warmth and an interesting structure!
Trendy tops in a classic cut or with trendy balloon sleeves. Even the cuffs can be made from Rocko knitwear.
Here you can see the beautiful drape – our sample sewing team was thrilled with how comfortable clothes made from Rocko are to wear. After washing, it was as soft as butter and just a pleasure to wear! Very cosy and suitable for everyday wear, but depending on the pattern also chic for stylish office outfits or for the evening / going out!
Rocko is very easy to work with, you can push the differential up a little on the overlock so that the seam does not curl. Some test sewers recommend using seam tape or simply a narrow strip of Vlieseline H180 or G785 for knits!
Waffle knit Rocko is excellent for autumn and winter with its approx. 270 g/m², but not too thick! Rocko comes in 9 colours, including of course classics like dark grey, black and dark blue in addition to the latest fashion colours.

NANO-Softshell Fiete
Fiete is a true classic – the tried and tested NANO-Softshell with always new, trendy prints is an essential part of the Swafing range! The beautiful quality is ideal for self-sewn favourite pieces that get active people through any weather well: Water- and wind-repellent, with a breathable membrane and even still certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®! Fiete has a medium grey fleece backing and does not necessarily need to be lined. Ideal for clothing such as jackets, windbreakers, waistcoats and coats, rain trousers and mud trousers for the little ones, but also for accessories and bags or gym bags. For the in-house exhibition we have 20 new Fiete designs for you!
Trendy designs for big and small – aren’t the new Fietes beautiful? We have rainbows on a dark background, the gold-coloured ginkgo leaves on anthracite, the cherry blossoms with accents in rose and gold and many more great designs!

The beautiful leo prints in trendy old pink and classic dark grey will please young and old alike! The small-patterned leo pattern looks simply stylish and cool when combined with black or even contrasting colours.
Cute children’s designs are also back – the forest animals on terracotta, petrol and dark blue are so cute for the very little ones!
Funny penguins in denim blue and anthracite – here the orange details are picked up with a lining in the same colour.
There’s something for everyone: the cool dinosaur print with the mighty T-Rex, a great compass design and the popular unicorn print on a black background.
We also have a beautiful floral pattern on a light background as well as the popular dotty dots and cute little clouds in three colours each.
Here you can see how beautifully you can combine the bright flowers and the mini dots in emerald mint, for example!

Stretch NANO Softshell Robin
Stretch NANO softshell is something very special: the elastane content makes this softshell particularly comfortable to wear, as the fabric gives slightly when you move. Versatile use: Ideal for jackets, buddle trousers and children’s overalls as well as waistcoats and coats, but also for gym bags, bags and outdoor cushions! Robin comes in two great designs that are also available on French Terry Petra – monster trucks on dark grey and unicorns on dark blue, each with a fleece side that matches the colour of the front!
