Zentrales Motiv ist die namensgebende Mohnblume (engl. „Poppy“), die auf feinster Baumwollpopeline erblüht und zu unbeschwerter Nähfreude einlädt.
Die farbgewaltige Kollektion von Designerin Andrea Müller zeigt liebevolle gestaltete, folkloristische Elemente, die ganz frisch und zeitgemäß neu interpretiert wurden. Freut Euch auf die neuen Jolijou Stoffe!
Jolijou’s new happy-go-lucky fabric collection, „Poppy Go Lucky“, is easy-going, carefree and lighthearted. The happy poppy is the fun design element tying all eleven new fabrics together in a beautiful cotton poplin collection.
Designer Andrea Müller’s kaleidoscopic collection features traditional folk art elements rediscovered and freshly re-imagined.

The „Poppy Go Lucky“ collections features no less than eleven new fabrics on our finest Swafing Exclusive 100% cotton „Confidence in Textiles’/Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified poplin.
„Poppy Go Lucky“ ist mit seinen Blumenranken und den liebevoll gestalteten Ornamenten das Hauptmotiv der Kollektion. Zwischen den leuchtenden Poppy-Blumen in Türkistönen kann man kleine Blüten und verliebte, kleine Vögelchen erblicken. Das Poppy Go Lucky Design gibt es in den vier kräftigen Farben Lila, Grün, Blau und Rot.
Floral fancywork and bold medallions are the featured design elements of the „Poppy Go Lucky“ collection. Nestled amid the bright blue poppies, you will also find good luck-bearing distelfinks. „Poppy Go Lucky“ comes to you in your choice of four colourways: Lavender, green, blue and red.
Auf „Poppy Parade“ haben sich die Mohnblumen aus dem Hauptmotiv zu einer fröhlich-bunten Parade aufgestellt. Durch die regelmäßige Anordnung erhält das Muster einen charmanten Retro-Flair und eignet sich wunderbar für Damenkleidung. Auch Kindermode, Patchworkdecken oder wunderschöne Wohnaccessoires gelingen aus Poppy Parade ganz leicht. Poppy Parade ist in Lila, Grün, Blau und Rot erhältlich und lässt sich wunderbar mit allen anderen Stoffen der Kollektion kombinieren.
„Poppy Parade“ features the happy blossoms marching along in neat rows. The geometric placement of the design elements lends the fabric a bit of groovy 70s flair and is a great choice for on-trend ladies‘ apparel. On the other hand, children’s clothing, bed quilts and charming home décor items can also be sewn up from this happy fabric. „Poppy Parade“ comes to you in the colourways lavender, green, blue and red and mixes and matches perfectly with the other fabrics in the collection.

Die kleingemusterten Stoffe sind von den folkloristischen Motiven der Dirndlmode inspiriert und lassen sich ideal mit Poppy Go Lucky und Poppy Parade kombinieren. Die kleinen Blüten mit ihrer lilafarbenen Blütenmitte sind auf den Farben Blau, Rot und Türkis aufgeblüht und können es kaum erwarten, zu fröhlich-folkloristischen Unikaten verarbeitet zu werden. Zeitgemäße Trachtenmode – Dirndl aus Poppy Go Lucky
Jeder Designer wird durch sein Umfeld inspiriert und die Eindrücke aus Lebensmittelpunkt, Reisen und Erlebnissen nehmen nicht selten Einfluss auf neue Designs. So geschehen bei der jüngsten Kollektion der bekannten Designerin Andrea Müller, die kürzlich mit Ihrer Familie von Berlin in ihre alte Heimat München gezogen ist. Was liegt da näher, als etwas bayrischen Jolijou-Zauber in die neusten Stoffdesigns zu legen? Poppy Go Lucky ist jedoch KEINE reine Dirndl-Kollektion, wie auch die vielen anderen wunderbaren Modelle beweisen. Die Poppy-Stoffe eignen sich jedoch ganz vorzüglich für alpenländische Trachtenmode. Designers are inspired by the world around them and the impressions from their environment and experiences very often form the nucleus around which an idea forms. Such was the case for the creation of this latest collection from our beloved designer Andrea Müller, who recently upped stakes in Berlin and moved back to her home town of Munich. It would only make sense that Jolijou would add a punch of Bavarian panache to her newest fabric collection. „Poppy Go Lucky“ is by no means just for dirndl fashion, however, it does work very well for traditional Alpine Tracht. It won’t be long until beer gardens and pubs around the world will join in the traditional Munich Oktoberfest celebration. Won’t you join in the fun in your own handmade dirndl?
These endearing design examples are the product of a joint effort between Jolijou and Mondbresal and her team. Ebooks for sewing up ladies’s dirndl „Anna“ and the girls‘ „Lena“ will be made available along with this newest Swafing fabric collection at the end of July. The lacing allows the corselette to be adjusted to flatteringly fit any figure. The ebook includes the dirndl skirt, corselette and a blouse, which follows the neckline of the corselette perfectly and can be cinched closed as much as you like.
