Swafing Holiday Panel
The warmer months are just ahead of us and we are looking forward to spending more time outdoors! With this terrific set, you’ll be ready to go on holiday and enjoy your leisure time. Everything matches perfectly together: We simply adore the fresh colors and bold prints! To make all the items from the “Holiday” panel, you will need some acrylic-coated cotton for lining, bits of elastic, a length of cording and a zipper.
The “Holiday” panel is ideal for beginners and is a great teaching tool. All the steps to make all the items are explained in great detail in the sewing instructions. The different projects can be completed without very much prior sewing knowledge at all! The pattern is already printed on the fabric: Just cut out and start sewing!

You just could not get enough of Lila-Lotta’s “Attitude” & “Squares” fabric collections, so we’ve brought them back! Designer Sandra Prüßmeier has revisited these very successful designs with “Attitude 2.0” and “Squares 2.0” in updated colourways! But that’s not all–Sandra’s “Eyecatcher” really lives up to its name! Perfect for children, teenagers and kids alike!
Spring is just about sprung. We are so looking forward to brighter days and sewing up bold Lila-Lotta fabrics to match! We’ve got a new “Attitude”, namely “Attitude 2.0” with accents in trendy taupe, lush lilac and yummy lemon yellow. The unusual, large-format design is a real head-turner: no matter how lay out your pattern pieces, you will get a unique piece every time. Two garments sewn from the exact same pattern will look completely different from one another, as a different element of the print will take center stage. “Attitude” 2.0 is a French terry material with a wonderful hand. Nelli Simböck is well known for her dreamlike flower designs: New bienvenido colorido “Elise” and “Sonado” cements the designer from Spain’s reputation as an aesthetic force to be reckoned with. These two particularly beautiful knit jerseys are just marvelous for casual dresses, tops, loungewear and so much more!
Knit jersey “Sonado” brings a springtime visitor to our magnolia branches, a cheery bird with bright plumage. After nesting and brooding in Andalusia, the migratory European bee-eater flies to Africa to spend the winter. “Soñado” means something akin to „dreamt“ in English. This blend of birds, flowers, leaves and seed pods in a pallet of strong watercolours, is truly dreamy. “Sonado” comes in three colourways: emerald green, black and dark blue.

Swafing Designer Christiane Zielinski presents two new fabrics at the virtual Cologne fair: Knit jerseys “Lovely Robin” and sweatshirt jersey “My Little Penguin” are oh-so fresh and fun for winter! Great for both young and old: Can’t you just picture the best Mommy & Me outfits for the holiday season sewn up from these precious fabrics?
Penguins are arguably the cutest birds in the southern hemisphere. Although they cannot fly and their legs are very short, penguins still manage to get around quite well by waddling upon the snow, sliding across the ice and swimming through icy water. But also skating? Well why not? Christine’s little penguins glide across a wintry background between snowflakes and fir trees. This cuddly sweatshirt jersey comes to you in three great winter colourways: gray, mint green and a teal blue.

Thorsten Berger invites you on an enchanting and mysterious journey through „Gloomy Hills“. Choose from a wide variety of designs, illustrations and structures that show how fascinating different shades of gray can be. Explore the entire spectrum from deep black to pure white and meet interesting characters along the way in the “Gloomy Hills”, such as “Mystic Lady” and “Mister Crow”. Thorsten Berger’s fascinating panels make him a fabric fanatic’s favourite. His designs work well for kids, teens and adults, and both mend and women.

Get ready for “Chloe” and “Clara”, a marvelous imitation suede in fashionable colors! This high-quality faux suede with elastane is also called stretch suede and has the sumptuous soft feel and luxurious look of suede leather. With the right needle and thread, this material is easy to work with and just marvelous for making jackets, hats, skirts and pants. Stretch suede can also be used for making throw pillows and slipcovers. Our stretch suede comes to you as “Chloe” in eight gorgeous solid colors and as “Clara” in a leopard print in four colors.

Canada and the maple leaf are inextricably entwined: Toronto named its beloved hockey team after this bit of foliage, Canadians pour the tree’s sweet syrup on just about everything they eat and Canada even placed a big, bright red maple leaf right in the middle of its national flag.
